Volunteers from the Palmetto Elks Lodge #2449 visit residents of the Manatee River Assisted Living Facility every Monday at 10:00am. The patrons receive a lot of tender loving care and, if they want, they get nails filed and painted. In addition to the volunteers, “Buddy” comes along to lend emotional support to everyone who needs it.
