MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Republican Party of Manatee County will host its premier signature gathering, the Trump Day Dinner and Statesperson of the Year Award,on Thursday, January 29, 2026, welcoming elected officials, community leaders, and invited guests from across the region for an evening focused on civic engagement, recognition, and celebration.

The event will be held at the Bradenton Area Convention Center and the Palmetto Marriott Resort & Spa, highlighting two of Manatee County’s premier venues for large-scale leadership and community gatherings.

Event Highlights: Thursday, January 29, 2026 — The Trump Day Dinner will feature a keynote address by Lara Trump, a formal dinner program, and a VIP reception welcoming Republican leadership, elected officials, and distinguished guests.

Lara Trump is a prominent figure in American politics, a television personality, and a dedicated advocate for her family and conservative values.

Lara gained widespread recognition as the host of “The Right View,” a web series she launched in 2020. The show, which features a panel of conservative women discussing political and cultural topics, has garnered a large following and allows Lara to engage with a diverse audience.

Lara’s recognition grew four years later when she was named Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee, drawing widespread acclaim as her intelligent and passionate support helped re-elect Donald J. Trump to the presidency in 2024. After the election, Lara returned to the airwaves on Fox News Channel, where she hosts the Saturday evening program “My View with Lara Trump,” presenting in-depth analysis of the issues and stories that matter most to Americans while offering context and solutions to help bring the country together.

Before her venture into the media, Lara Trump made her mark as a producer and story coordinator for the CBS television show “Inside Edition.” Her experience in the field of media honed her skills as a communicator and provided a strong foundation for her subsequent endeavors, including working as a contributor at Fox News.

The evening in Palmetto will also include the presentation of the Republican Party of Manatee County’s Statesperson of the Year Award, presented by Senator and Mrs. Bill Galvano, recognizing outstanding leadership, public service, and commitment to conservative principles.
