We didn’t exactly plan to be running a newspaper, but life’s a funny thing isn’t it? We all loved this paper entirely too much to see it slip away like far too many newspapers have over time.
It’s been a challenge, but we’re having a blast doing this. The readers of this paper are truly incredible! We are thankful to our advertisers, sponsors, partners and most of all – the community – for sticking with us through the transition. I’ll say this, Ms. Barbara made running this paper look EASY and I’ll be the first to tell you – it’s not!
We have been hard at work expanding our coverage of the area and expanding the paper itself – you may have noticed we’ve taken the jump to 12 pages already here in the first quarter of 2026. And don’t worry, we have no plans to eliminate the crosswords.
It’s time to check in with you, the reader, and let us know how we’re doing. We’re open to all new ideas, whether that’s the layout of the paper, new content ideas, or anything else that might be on your mind. Please write to us and let us know!
